Timothy J. Ryan

Timothy J. Ryan, 76, of Homer passed away at 8:33am on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Country Health in Gifford.

Per his wishes, there will be no services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Homer Funeral and Cremation Services, 708 S. Main Street in Homer is handling arrangements.

Timothy was born April 22, 1949 in Urbana, the son of Erwin Michael and Ella Boland Ryan.

Survivors include his sisters, Rita Balbo of Champaign and Julie (Ken) White of Dwight; special friends, Charles and Sharon Walters of Homer and their daughters, Carrie Walters of Homer and Southerlynn Gahwiler of Mt. Zion; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Regina Propst who died in 2019.

Tim was a truck driver and he enjoyed deer hunting and had a great love of cats.
